Obituary

Adrien Amedee Breton, 72, died on December 13, 2008. At the time of his death, Mr. Breton was a resident of Sterling Park, Virginia where he had lived with his wife for the past 45 years.
Adrien Breton was born in Chisholm, Maine on April 11, 1936 to the late Wilfred and Cecelia Breton. He was raised in Livermore Falls, Maine. After high school he enlisted in the Army and served in Germany. During this time he became engaged to his future wife, Marilyn Jean Breton, and they were married in June, 1958. They located in Arlington, Virginia and subsequently settled in July, 1963 in the then new community of Sterling Park after returning from an overseas assignment.
Mr. Breton was a career Central Intelligence Agency communications employee who retired in 1986. He participated in a variety of community activities – he was a member and Vice President of the Sterling Park Volunteer Rescue Squad in the 1960's; upon returning from an assignment in Athens, Greece in the 1970's he was active in bowling leagues in Leesburg and Sterling. Upon his retirement from the CIA he worked for EDS for several years.
After retiring again, he became the courier for Loudoun Hospital Center (LHC), providing the link for supplies, x-rays and equipment for the various LHC facilities and doctor's offices throughout Loudoun. Mr. Breton left LHC after many years of faithful service and focused on continuing to help his friends, family and neighbors with whatever needs they might have.
He was an avid gardener/landscaper and fisherman. He was able to coax his lawn to be one of the finest in all of the red clay area of eastern Loudoun.
Mr. Breton was a loving husband father and friend. Many will miss him. But his memories will live on in those he leaves behind: his wife of 50 years, Marilyn; son Randolph Breton and daughter-in-law Trudy Breton of Hamilton, daughter Kathy Davis and companion Roger Rowley of Sterling and daughter Michelle Karman of Sterling; grandsons Christopher and wife Eryn Davis, Nicholas and William Davis, Benjamin and Douglas Breton and granddaughters Megan and Aimee Karman. He also leaves 3 great grandsons: Xander, Jaxon, and Maddox Davis.
