Alexis Christine Reecy

June 26, 1992  -  February 4, 2023

Alexis Christine Reecy, age 30, of Charlottesville VA, formerly of Penn Run, PA and Apollo, PA, passed away unexpectedly at UVA Hospital, Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Alexis was born on June 26, 1992 in Arlington, VA.  She is survived by her adopted parents, Kenton and Cherise Rachal and a brother, Jesse Rachal from Apollo, PA; her stepmother, Beth Mutz and brothers Vincent and Benjamin Mutz of Penn Run, PA; her children, Bailey and Romani of VA; her aunts Chrissy Mutz and Tracey Pitcock of Harpers Ferry, WV; and numerous cousins. Alexis was proceeded in death by her father Ronald Scott Mutz.

Alexis was a cheerleader when she attended Apollo Ridge High School.  She later attended Kiski Area High School where she graduated in 2010.  She loved playing soccer on the Kiski Area Soccer League and also for the school team.  Alexis had a great sense of humor and loved to make others laugh.  She had several cats and was especially fond of Meesha and Mac.

Her family is thankful Alexis was able to be an organ donor and give the gift of life to several others.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
