Alice Virginia Martin, 87, died December 17, 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee. Alice was born in Lucketts, Virginia on July 21, 1921. Alice leaves behind her daughter, Jenivee Maggie Sherman, two granddaughters, Sandee Leigh Dean and Jeannie Sherman Tabor, five great grandchildren and two nephews, Donald Beach (and wife Hilda) and Ronald Beach (and wife LaNeta). A visitation will be held on January 3, 2008 at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE starting at 9:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow starting at 9:30 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, Virginia following the services.
