Ana Hernandez 81, passed away at home in Ashburn, VA surrounded by her family and loved ones on January 11, 2018.

Ana was born on April 12, 1936 in Puerto Rico to Elena Guzman and Pedro Hernandez.

She spent most of her life in Newark NJ where she lived and raised her family.

In her later years, Ana moved to Ashburn, VA to live with her daughters Ana Rosa and Linda.

Ana loved music, sports, and television but had a particular affinity for Julio Iglesias, John Wayne and all things LA Dodgers.

Ana was such a sweet, caring, and loving person. She treated everyone she came in contact with as if they were family.

She is survived by her 5 daughters- Maggie, Doris, Sandy, Ana Rosa and Linda. Her 1 son- Tony. Her 7 grandchildren- Ana, Ito, Anthony, Tommy, Tina, Darryll (Mu), and Eli. As well as 10 great-grandchildren, very special nieces, nephews, God children, and a host of extended family.

The family will receive friends between 10:00am - 12:00pm on Saturday January 20, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, Virginia.

Prayer services will begin promptly at 11:00am.

Flowers are welcomed or a donation can be made in Ana's name to the United for Puerto Rico fund.
