Anne E. James Tabb, 92, of Kearneysville, WV, went home to be with the Lord July 8, 2021, at Heritage Hall, Leesburg, VA.  Born September 14, 1928, in Charles Town, WV and daughter of the late William McKinley James and Ruth Milbourne Barfield James.

She was 1946 valedictorian of Charles Town High School, homemaker, and loved to travel.  She was a lifetime member of Charles Town Baptist Church, teacher, sang in choir, and involved in mission groups.  She volunteered many years at Community Ministries and had been a Girl Scout leader.

She is survived by her son, Terry Tabb (Debby Deming), Kearneysville, WV; daughters, Ruth Knable (Ted), Greencastle, PA, Linda Adams (Frank), Charles Town, WV; son-in-law, Darryl Myers, Clear Brook, VA; grandchildren, Ryan Myers, Inwood, WV, Bonnie Pullen (Kyle), Charles Town, WV, Luke Myers (Lauren), Charlottesville, VA, Julie Paden (Nick), Morgantown, WV, Chris Adams, Newport News, VA, Natalie Stanley (Blake), Ladson, SC; great granddaughter, June Paden; great grandson, Parker Pullen; brother, Harold James, Funkstown, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Tabb in 1992; daughter, Susan Myers, Clear Brook, VA in 2021; sister, Eleanor James, Charles Town, WV, in 2004.

Her body was donated to WVU Human Gift Registry, Morgantown, WV.  A memorial service will be held later at Charles Town Baptist Church, Charles Town, WV and interment at Edge Hill Cemetery.
