Obituary

Annette Fox passed away on May 5, 2017 after a very long struggle with illness and disease. She was born on July 13, 1945 in Queens, New York; daughter of the late Catherine and Ferdinand Carinci. She and her younger sister Susan, spent most of their childhood in Queens, where she met and then married her husband, William P. Fox .

Annette and Bill met met as a set up through a blind date by one of her customers at the beauty shop where she was a beautician. They were married at Holy Child Church in Richmond Hill, NY on August 13,1972.

She was a proud mother to her two girls, Kerilyn Russo born December 1974 and Kristine Fox in May 1976 and enjoyed spending her life entertaining others as a charming hostess for those that passed through her home and life. She spent her career doing what she loved most, feeding the children at the local schools as a lunch lady. She poured her passion into making food, both at work and at home, something to always enjoy.

They moved from Queens to Hamilton Square, NJ and then to Washington, NJ  until, in 1993 they permanently relocated to Ashburn, VA for the remainder of her life.

Annette had a smile that lit up the room and both her husband, two girls and two grandsons, Leonardo Russo and Landon Fox Proctor will miss seeing her but are happy she is in peace, no longer in pain.

Visitation and a full mass will be held on Monday May 8, 2017 at 5 PM at St Theresa's Catholic Church in Ashburn, VA followed by a reception. The burial service will be held at St Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY a few days following.
