Arlene Ann Schulz, 84, of Ashburn, VA died Sept. 4, 2012 at Gainsville Health & Rehab in Gainsville, VA.

She was born November 5, 1927 in Scranton, PA to the late Ellsworth and Ernestine Davies. Lived in Morris County N.J. before moving to Virginia. She was preceeded in death by her husband Joseph H. Schulz, Jr. & her brother Kenneth Davies. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon A. Estock & her husband Michael of Ashburn, VA; Nancy K. Rider & her husband Robert of Sparta, NJ; and a son, Gary Schulz of North Bend, Oregon. Survivors also include four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Arlene was very sweet and soft-spoken wife, mother, grandmother, sister and loved by many. She loved her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements were by Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, and a private viewing was held for the family.
