Arthur H. Heinzman, 85, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2013. Arthur was the beloved husband of 61 years to Lydia C. Heinzman, devoted father of son Arthur B. Heinzman, daughter Denise Cochran and husband Bob and son Stephen Heinzman and wife Kelly. He was the grandfather of Christina and husband Kevin Smith, Robbie and Kevin Cochran and Andrew, Nathan and Rachel Heinzman. Born in Washington DC, raised in Arlington and a long time resident of McLean and recently Ashburn, VA. Arthur was a graduate of Washington & Lee High School, William & Mary and MIT. He was a partner in the Structural Engineering firms of Heinzman & Clifton and Gray & Heinzman. Arthur loved to learn and challenge himself. Among his interests were wood working, stain glass work, jewelry making, gardening, dancing, bowling and traveling.
