Barbara Jean Buckholz, age 62, lost her battle with Brain Cancer on 29 November 2019.   She was an incredible person full of positive energy and dreams who focused on success and inner peace.  Barbara shattered the survival rate for Brain Cancer for 6.5 years.  She was born on the 19 ^th of February 1957 in Baltimore, MD to the late Edward Dietrich and Francis Harper.

She is survived by her husband Brian Buckholz; 3 children, Sean Dietrich (Rachel), Nicole Jamieson (James), and Ian Buckholz (Jenna); 4 grandchildren, Gwenevere (11), Taylor (8), Maximilian (7), and Peyton (5); her siblings Karen Poe, Regina Dietrich, and Kurt Dietrich; and nieces and nephews, John, Melissa, Amber, Jennifer, and Evan.

A dedicated and skilled crafter, Barbara enjoyed card making, cross-stitching, sewing, knitting, scrapbooking, custom iron-ons, and coloring.  A native of Maryland, Barbara also enjoyed nature, photography, gardening, and cooking.  Her favorite days included time spent with her grandchildren as well as family and friends.  She loved listening to the rain, watching snowfall, watching the sunrise, star gazing, and reading spiritual/healing books.  Barbara always put others first by listening and helping family members during tough days. She had a special way of dealing with life's challenges by using gratitude to dissolve negativity no matter what form it took.  Her passion was to make sure her family understood the secrets for success and inner peace.
