Barbara Jean Drumm, age 74, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg.

Mrs. Drumm was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Pauline (Chase) Stevens and one grand-daughter, Erin Drumm.

Barbara was a 45 year resident of Leesburg and in addition to being a mother, held many positions over the years. She was a receptionist for a pediatrician office and a dental office. Barbara worked as a secretary at Ashburn Presbyterian Church and St. James Episcopal Church in Leesburg. She was an office manager for a training contractor at the FAA Control Center in Leesburg. She was instrumental in the planning and opening of the Morningside House on Harrison Street in Leesburg. She was last employed as a receptionist at Leesburg Pharmacy.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Walter W. Drumm of Leesburg; one son, David W. Drumm and his wife Paula of Foresthill, MD; one daughter, Debra L. Giuseppe and her husband Brendan of Vienna, VA, 7 grandchildren, one brother, William D. Stevens and his wife Mary of Skaneateles, NY and one sister, Judith L. Pugliese and her husband Frank of Shrewsbury, MA .

A memorial service will be held at the Leesburg Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Market Street, Leesburg, Virginia 20175 at 11:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2017. Private interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia.
