Barbara Ann Foster, loving mother and grandmother was called home to be with Jesus on February 25 2018. Barbara was born December 30 1947 to Luther and Annie Foster in Ajo, Arizona.

Barbara spent the majority of her adult life living and working in Ajo and Morenci for Phelps Dodge. After working approximately thirty years, she retired and moved to Leesburg, Virginia to be with her daughter.

Barbara spent the last seven years doing what she loved most reading, talking to friends and enjoying her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Denise Foster and Gilberto Jorge, grandchildren Jonathan Jorge and Ashlyn Jorge. Siblings Beatrice Smith and Larry Foster as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Luther Foster Jr.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, Leesburg VA 20176 from 11:00am- 12:00pm with services commencing at 12:00 pm, with Pastor Eugene Nichols. Interment will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bluemont VA
