Barbara Ann Smallwood Simpson

Currently residing in Stephen City Va.

She leaves behind two daughters. Donna L Springer, Joyce A Simpson (Beebe) and her husband Jeffery Beebe. And one son Elwood K Simpson Jr. and his wife Jaime Simpson.

6 Grandchildren  and 3 great grandchildren.

She was from a family of 8. Survived by 1 sister F Jane Johnson from Falls Church Va.

With many nieces,nephews, and cousins.

She was the daughter of Howard P Smallwood and Donnie M Smallwood.

She was a resident of Loudoun County Va from 1943-2015. Her family came to Loudoun from Maryland. She finished high school at Loudoun County High in 1958.

Prior to the passing of her husband of 52 years Elwood K Simpson, she was employed thru Safeway Corp for 30 years.

Where she had a lot of good friends that stayed in touch long after her retirement.

She was a very compassionate loving person. She always found the good in everyone.

She loved life, her family , and her friends.

And will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE, Leesburg, VA where a service will begin at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
