Obituary

Berkeley Brown Baker, 90, passed away on September 17, 2009. Mr. Baker was a resident of Haymarket, Virginia. He was born in Lovettsville, Virginia on November 25, 1918 to the late George E. and Reba (Brown) Baker. He and his wife, Edna Frye Baker had two daughters. Mr. Baker worked as the postmaster for the United States Postal Service.

Along with his wife, Edna, he is survived by his daughters Bonnie East and husband Thomas and Diane Costello and husband Phil; sisters Phyllis Wharton and LaRue Norris; four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2009 at New Jerusalem Lutheran Parish in Lovettsville, Virginia.
