Bertha M. Earls passed away on April 20,. 2010. She was 77 years old at the time of her death. Mrs. Earls was born in Amherst County, Virginia on August 23,1932 to parents Jesse and Oney (Jones) White. Before retiring, she worked in the nursing field at the Newington Veteran's Hospital in Newington, Connecticut. She is survived by he children William Earls, Jr. of Rocky Hills, Connecticut; Alissa Harrison of Burke, Virginia; Eddie Earls of Largo, Florida; Maurice Earls of Hartford Connecticut and Crisstal Earls of Burke, Virginia; several grandchildren; sister-in-law Laura Earls of Chicago, Illinois; nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Earls, Sr. who passed away in January of 2003. A graveside service will be held at a later time in New Britain, Connecticut.
