A special person, Beth Ann Coefield, passed away on June 28, 2009. She made her home in Ashburn, Virginia. Beth Ann was 40 years old. She was born in New York to Lorraine Fox and the late Ira Silverman on November 19, 1968.

Beth Ann touched the lives of many while working as an office manager for the Capitol Home Health Care. She was an avid reader and collector of books. She was a lover of cats; but her beloved 'Snarf' held a special place in her heart and home. She loved shoes. Of all the things she held most dear, her children and grandson were most precious.

Although many will miss her laughter and amazing sense of humor, she will continue to be in their hearts. Those left behind to cherish and share the memories are her mother Lorraine Fox of Lovettsville, Virginia; children Chelsea Williams of Lovettsville, Virginia; Bruce Shumway of Orange, Virginia; Matthew Shumway of Orange, Virginia; grandson Tristin Williams; her sister Jessica Van Orden of Lovettsville, Virginia; stepsister Meryl Tseng of Odenton, Maryland; stepbrother Jeremy Fox of Napa, California; niece Sydney Van Orden and nephew Cole Van Orden.

Family and friends are invited to visit on July 2, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. A memorial service will follow starting at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Reverends David L. and Edna Mosher officiating.
