Betty was an accomplished painter and seamstress. She loved to garden and was very active, full of life, and generally had more stamina than people half her age. She walked every day until she physically was unable to.
Betty was an avid Baseball fan and LOVED watching the Cubbies and the Nats. She was kind to everyone and was always ready to listen or lend a hand. Betty LOVED to laugh and her work ethic was tremendous.
Her final request was very important to her to be able to donate her body to science so that others may learn as she once learned; so it is for that reason that funeral arrangements will be pending until that wish is fulfilled.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Capital Caring (Hospice) https://www.capitalcaring.org/
