Betty Williams, 90, of Lucketts, Virginia, passed away on March 16, 2023 after a brief illness.  Betty was born on October 6, 1932 in Lucketts.  Daughter of Roy Fry and Lena Athey Fry.

She lived her entire life within a mile of where she was born.  She married Herbert Williams in 1951 and had one daughter, Diane.  Most of her life was spent as a homemaker, but later in her life she worked in Leesburg at retail stores Silco and Town and County.  Betty loved animals and throughout her life had many pets, especially cats.  She also loved country music, and for many years helped in the kitchen for the Saturday night Bluegrass shows held at the Lucketts Community Center.

She is survived by Diane and Paul Hope, and the light of her life, her grandson Jacob; cherished family members, Nancy Quesenberry, Jeannie Stice, Violet Cooper, Joanne Tharp and Theresa Mabe.

Services will be private.
