Brad and his wife of 32 years, Sharon, made their home in Sterling, VA with their two daughters Mary Barbara and Ann Paulett.

He worked at the national headquarters of the United States Postal Service for 25 years and was quick to point out that "it was the most reliable postal system in the world and where else could you mail a letter 2000 miles for 49¢?"

Brad loved his family, friends, neighbors, church and his country. He never met a stranger. He valued young people – especially his daughter's friends, the children involved in the SRRBBL Basketball League and every one of Sharon's piano students.

His family is deeply moved by the numerous condolences that mention the ways Brad touched others' lives. They will treasure these memories forever.

Please honor Brad's memory by spending time with your loved ones, mending fences, remembering that little acts of kindness mean a lot and, of course……consider rescuing a cat or dog!

Brad's "Celebration of Life" service will be Tuesday, March 28 ^th at 3:00pm at Galilee United Methodist Church in Sterling, VA with visitation at 2:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to Petconnectrescue.org , Loudoun County Abused Women's Shelter or The Wounded Warrior Project.
