Brenda Livengood Geib, a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on July 14th, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Annandale, Virginia, Brenda had a lifelong flair for fashion and style. She attended Marjorie Webster Junior College where she majored in fashion merchandising. She became the "Dorbet's Girl" for a boutique in Annandale and would represent the store every week on the radio.

In 1962, she married Harry F. Geib, Jr. and together they built a beautiful life in McLean, Virginia where they resided for 54 years.

Brenda spent 43 years as a hardworking and respected legal assistant - a testament to her remarkable work ethic and determination. She was an avid reader, loved her trips to TJ Maxx; but her greatest joy was the time spent with her grandchildren. She poured her heart into her family, never missing a chance to show up, cheer on, or offer wisdom laced with her signature wit.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry F. Geib, Jr.; and her grandson, Brendan Franklin Lackey.

Brenda is survived by her loving children: son, Harry F. Geib, III and his wife, Janet; and daughter, Paula G. Lackey. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren: Tara A. Lackey, Bryan F. Geib, Kaitlyn D. Geib, and Erin V. Lackey.

Brenda's legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the family she adored, and the countless memories she created with those lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice. Brenda loved supporting cancer research and local fire/rescue departments.
