"His life earnest, his actions kind, A willing hand, an active mind, Anxious to please, loath to offend, A loving brother and faithful friend."
Our loving son, brother, and faithful friend Brent Thomas Frazier, 41, of Purcellville Virginia, died peacefully and with dignity on January 20, 2013 in Leesburg, VA. Brent was born October 9, 1971 to Larry and Onalee Frazier in Radford VA. He is survived by his parents and brother Michael and sister-in-law Margaret Frazier, and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones.
Brent is remembered for his compassion for others and his love for his parents, who were also his best friends. He loved and admired his brother Michael, and had big dreams of becoming an engineer just like him. Brent's faith never waivered in his life-long struggle with his health. His courage, diligence, and humility serves as an inspiration and source of hope for those who knew him. During his lifetime, Brent unfailingly demonstrated how to be a man of honor irrespective of station or creed. He loved family vacations and holidays, the family cat Frisky and Michael and Margaret's dog Madison. Brent felt secure and hopeful in spite of his struggle because of Larry and Onalee's love and guidance and he referred to his Dad as his "bonding brother"—weekly lunches at "Ruby Tuesday's" and mowing the lawns—on their individual riding mowers—were among their many shared experiences. And, above all, Brent deeply loved his family and showed others the importance of this bond.
A man of unfaltering faith in God, Brent was a member of the Sterling United Methodist Church in Sterling, where he lived for over 30 years. He played soccer as a youth and graduated from Park View High School in 1990. He subsequently adopted his family's alma mater as his own, always rooting for Virginia Tech and the Redskins. Brent also enjoyed reading Christian books, listening to music and working part-time when his health permitted, plus volunteering his services for the Loudoun Habitat for Humanity.
A celebration of Brent's life will be held Friday evening, 25 January 2013, at the Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA. Visitation is at 6:00 pm followed by services at 7:00 pm.

"Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy."
We will miss you Brent, but we will see you among the stars tonight and in our memories forever.
