Bruce Eddy Roberts "Hippie Bruce" 60 of 209 Loudoun Street SE Leesburg, passed away on Monday July 4, 2016 in his home. Born December 24, 1955 in Waterbury, CT moving to Deland, FL in the early 80's and becoming a resident of Virginia in the early 90's, he was a hard worker and jack of all trades. From bartending to masonry, mixing business with pleasure, he never turned down an adventure and lived his life to the fullest. Enjoying music, books, travel, fishing, bowling, partying and people, he was loved by everyone.

He is survived by three siblings – Russell Thomas Roberts of Wolcott CT, Bonnie Roberts of Charlotte, NC and Brett Roberts of Deland, FL, a "Son" Gabriel Simokaitis, Godson Brandon Simokaitis, and several Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. A special thanks to Suzanne (Suzie) Schlegel for helping Bruce through his very difficult time.

Services will be held on July 16, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg. Visiting services will be from 12:00 – 2:00 and funeral services from 2:00 – 3:00 followed by his Life Celebration held at the Moose Lodge, 43 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
