Obituary
Burl Clayton Lewis, 93, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014. A native of Ritchie County, West Virginia, he was born in 1920 to Charles C. and Edna (Bland) Lewis. He later married wife Melba. Burl proudly served his country while in the United States Army where he earned the rank of Colonel; retiring in 1970.
The memories of Colonel Burl Clayton Lewis will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were honored to have known him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Carver Community Center, 200 Willie Palmer Way, Purcellville, VA 20132 where he will be remembered with full honors.
