Carl Criado, 81, of Saxton PA, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at his daughter's home in Purcellville, VA, with his family by his side.
Carl was born in McKeesport, PA on January 8, 1929, he was married to Shirley Poti May 8, 1954. He lived with his family in Centreville, VA for 43 years, and lived in Saxton, PA for 4 years. Carl retired in January 2001 with 23 years Federal Service and 6 years 8 mos Military Service, a Korean War Veteran, awarded a Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, with 1 Arrow Head.
Carl is remembered for always taking care of his family, always giving and often saying "Remember, money is just paper."
Carl is preceeded in death by his wife, Shirley Criado and daughter, Carlene Alexander. He is survived by his daughters Christine Brehm of Springfield, VA, Cynthia Criado of Pleasant Hill, OH, Cheryl Jurusik of Purcellville, VA, 4 brothers, 1 sister, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
At his request, no funeral will be held.
