Walter Carl Mauk, 53, died on February 20, 2013 in Hamilton. He was born in El Paso Texas and had been a Loudoun County resident for over thirty years. Carl was an avid outdoorsman with a love of gardening and cooking. He was a writer, an artist, a philosopher and a skilled tradesman. He is survived by his loved ones; Ernestine and Ray Mauk; Goeffrey Mauk and Katherine Leonard and their families; Rae Cole, Sharon Mercke and many dear friends. His desire was to be cremated and a memorial gathering will be held at a future date.
