Carmen Lizama 69, from San Miguel, El Salvador, later a naturalized U.S. Citizen, passed away on Monday the 14th of September 2015. Born November the 22nd, 1946 to the late Rogelia Lizama, and Francisco A Hernandez. She was a retired Medical Benefits Coordinator Assistant, and Child Development worker.

Survivors include her three sisters, Romelia Alvarenga, Natividad Caceres, Thelma Dinora Lizama de Osorio;. Five children, Yanover "Yani" Letona 51 HM2 USN, Ingrid Guerra 52, Huber Letona 50, Elmer "Tony" Letona 49, William Lizama 46, Cynthia Gunera 44, Alexander Gunera 36 SSGT USAF, Six grandchildren, Natalie J. Gunera 24, Huber E. Letona 19, Josaphat L. Letona 18, Darius A. Guillen 17, Jarely Soriano 14, Enrique A. Gunera 6; Daughter In Laws, Carol Letona 47, Janet Letona 46, Elisa Letona 45, Sonia Gunera 34; Son In Law Alex Navas 45 and an array of God children, nieces and nephews, whom she embraced with the same kind of motherly love.

Family and friends are invited to a time of remembrance on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176 between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm during which time prayers will be heard at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted for cancer charities of her choice. Thank You!
