Obituary

Our beloved Carol Lynne Healey, age 28, died peacefully early Thursday morning August 15, 2013. Carol Lynne is survived by her son Liam Healey-Wright, who she often described as the best part of her life. She also leaves her mother Kathleen Healey, and her grandparents Richard and Carol Tanczos, in addition to many loving friends and family who will miss her big heart and personality. She was thankful for all the supportive people in her life and spoke often of her many uplifting and faith based friends.

Carol Lynne was born at the beach in Beaufort, South Carolina, to Kathleen Healey. She grew up in Alexandria and Springfield, Virginia and graduated from Hayfield High School. Carol Lynne was an avid swimmer and loved the ocean. Her love for the water, lead to her career as a pool manager and lifeguard. It was her dream to one day be a marine biologist and work toward saving coral reefs. Carol enjoyed helping others, teaching children's bible classes, and participated in Angel Tree and school supply projects for the needy, through her church. Carol Lynne loved reading and writing poetry. She sent the following poem to her grandmother Carol Tanczos in a letter:

Rainbows

Sunshine flutters through my window like butterflies. Spreading over my eyes with the warmth of a new spring. I stretch my arms wide and look outside to see a rainbow of colors beyond my window. With a childlike heart I look to see the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow. I find something even more joyous to my soul. I find a bouquet of lush flowers that makes me feel things unknown to me before.

She will be greatly missed by her relatives Karen, Richard, Alex, and Sydney Lanham; Rik, Kim, and Payton Tanczos; Chris, Ashleigh, and Kaleigh Ewers, and all the Healeys. We will remember her sense of humor and all the laughs we had together. Her family would like to express thanks for all the people who helped Carol Lynne and guided her in a positive direction. We know Carol Lynne is finally at peace and she is with God who has called upon her for a greater purpose. She will be carefully watching over Kathie, Liam, and her family and friends from Heaven.
