Carol Harris Lanham was born on June 9, 1950 in Leesburg Va.   She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Harris. She has survived by her sister Debbie Grimes of Leesburg, Va, and two nieces Mary (Grimes) Philpott of Leesburg, VA, and Kimberly Rae Grimes of Miami FL.

Carol was a graduate of Washington Hospital Center and began her career as a registered nurse at Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA.  Carol was a nurse for 40+ plus years and was well respected and loved by her collegues.   Carol was one of the first ICU nurses in the area to get her CCRN.  Prior to retirement she worked at Leesburg Sterling Family Practice supporting patients in the area of case management.

Carol loved animals, gardening, reading, doing needle point, knitting, and vacationing at the beach.  The loss of her presence in the lives of her family and friends is deeply felt.

Graveside Services are planned for Thursday, November 3, 2016 starting at 10:00 a.m. at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia.
