Carol (Fuss) Walters
Carol passed away peacefully on February 3, 2023. Carol was born on April 20, 1949 in Port
Chester, New York to the late John and Veronica (Skrzypczak) Fuss. She was raised and
educated in Port Chester, graduating from Port Chester High School. She worked in reservations
for United Airlines for over 30 years in New York City, Rockleigh, NJ, and Sterling, VA until her
retirement. She was married to the late Willard Walters in 1974, they raised their family in New
York prior to moving to Leesburg, VA. Carol enjoyed knitting, crochet, music, and dancing.
Prior to her illness, she was a member of the prayer shawl ministry at St. John's in Leesburg.
Left to mourn and live on with loving memories are her son John Walters and his wife Lesley of
Trumbull, CT, daughter Sandra Walker of Leesburg, her grandsons, Wyatt Pendleton, Ethan
Walker and Stephen Walters, her sisters Joan Quant and her husband William, Elizabeth Fuss,
and Dorothy Bykowski, sister in law Margaret Love, and many nieces and nephews. In addition
to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her son-in-law Bryan Walker. Carol loved her family and friends above all else, and always put others before herself. As her health declined, she found comfort and enjoyment looking at pictures and hearing updates about her family. She especially loved to see pictures of the latest additions to the family. She loved the family pets over the years, and leaves behind 3 'grand dogs' who gave her love and comfort over the years.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Hall in Leesburg for their patience, compassion and dedication.

A viewing will take place at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 21371 St. Theresa Lane Ashburn, VA 20147 beginning at 10AM, February 17, 2023. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11AM. Internment will be at a later date. Family and Friends are requested to meet at the church.
