On Thursday, February 1, 2024, Carolyn Linden, of Gaithersburg, Maryland went home to be with the Lord.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Jack E. Linden. She was the devoted Mother of Cynthia Hawkins, Mary Ann Rubin (Robert), Richard Dudek (Linda). She is survived by her grandchildren, Catherine Hawkins, Kyle Rubin, Casey Rubin, Corey Rubin (Molly Adams) Andre Dudek (Megumi Iga), Alexander Dudek, and her great-grandchildren Kiara Carter, Nico Dudek, Senna Dudek and Benni Dudek.

Carolyn was born in Williamsport, PA on March 18, 1929, and was the youngest child of Raymond P. and Catherine Gola Yarosz. She was pre-deceased by her husband Jack E. Linden, and by her siblings Bernard Yarosz, Leon Yarosz, John Yarosz, Benjamin Yarosz, Sophie Philips, Anna Wentz, and Julianna 'Elsie' Hyde. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Carolyn loved her family and the many friends she made over her lifetime. She was an avid golfer and a member of Bethesda Country Club for the last 60 years. She loved painting, carving birds, fishing, gardening and cooking. She enjoyed spending quality time with each of her grandchildren and everyone has special memories of the many days shared with her.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. As per her wishes, her ashes will be sprinkled in some of her favorite places.
