Former Loudoun native, Catherine Hough, passed away on September 21, 2012 while residing in North Carolina. Mrs. Hough was 94 years old. Born in Leesburg, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Jane M. (Moriety) Herndon. She was married to Claude E. Hough who passed away in February of 2010. Together they were blessed with two children; Timothy W. Hough, presently of Front Royal, Virginia and Angela H. Meadows who resides in Delray, West Virginia. Mrs. Hough devoted her life to being a wife, mother and homemaker. She was an avid gardener and won many awards for her holiday decorations.

In her honor, a memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
