Obituary
Cathy Soo Suprise was born in Seoul, Korea on July 21, 1945 and died on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Ashburn, VA.
She is survived by her husband Lyle G. Suprise of Ashburn; three daughters, Shari Suprise of Honolulu, HI, Jerri Oswalt of Honolulu, HI, and Diane Donahue and her husband John of Trumbull, CT; and three sons, Lyle Suprise, Jr. and his wife Lou Ann of Bristow, VA, David Suprise and his wife Ellen of Vienna, VA, and James Suprise of Manassas, VA. Cathy is also survived by her sister, Ju Jae Kap of Seoul, Korea, and fourteen grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 25, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM* at the First Korean United Methodist Church, 2730 Centreville Road, Herndon, VA 20171. Interment Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Capital Hospice, 209 Gibson Street NW, Suite 202, Leesburg, VA 20176; First Korean United Methodist Church; or the Dranesville United Methodist Church, 1089 Liberty Meeting Court, Herndon, VA 20170.
