Charles Henry Light peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 29th, 2023, at his residence in Waterford, at the age of 77.

Born on January 29th, 1946, he was the beloved son of the late James B. Light and Elsie V. Light, and brother to the late Vivian V. Light. He leaves behind his sister Ruby Hissan of Ashburn, along with nieces, cousins, and numerous cherished friends. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Charles will be remembered for his boundless compassion, unwavering kindness, and ever-present smile. He held a special place in his heart for family, friendship, and the world of farming.

In lieu of floral tributes, we kindly request that donations be made to Harmony United Methodist Church at 380 E Colonial Hwy, Hamilton, VA 20158. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, at 11 AM, at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, located at 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE., Leesburg, VA 20176. Charles will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery, 323 N King St., Leesburg, VA 20176.
