Obituary
Charles Eldred "Sonny" Webb, 82, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on January 23, 2009.
Mr. Webb was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on July 19, 1926 to parents Charles Thomas and Eunice (Watts) Webb.
He spent most of his life in the North Danville area. Mr. Webb attended Moffett Memorial Baptist Church. While in attendance he was an active choir member. After his move to Leesburg, Mr. Webb attended the Leesburg Baptist Church.
He was a dedicated employee; delivering papers for the Danville Register and Bee for over 50 years. Mr. Webb retired in 2003.
Mr. Webb is survived by his sister, Dorothy Barker; two nephews, one niece, ten great nephews and nieces, six great-great nephews and nieces and a number of cousins.
A funeral was held on January 26, 2009 at the Moffett Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Carlton officiating. Burial took place in the Highland Burial Park in Danville, Virginia.
