Mrs. Cherie Lane (Wisler) Grandizio, born on October 1, 1951 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, to the late Janet Martiennsen and the late Robert Wisler, passed away at age 66 on May 18, 2018 in Sterling, Virginia. She enjoyed her retirement in Virginia living with her daughter and grandsons after a long standing career in the health care industry in Allentown, PA.

Cherie was the loving wife of the late John Grandizio. She is survived by her daughters, Angie Grandizio, Marlayna (Hammonds) Grandizio, and Jacqueline Grandizio and son, Michael Grandizio; and grandchildren, Alexander Williams, Nicholas Williams, and John Henry Hammonds. Cherie gave her everything to her grandsons - teaching, guiding and opening their minds to reading, exploring and discovering all the joys in life.

A time of visitation will be held between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm with a small service immediately following at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
