CLARA SANTANTONIO-GRAVES
On Tuesday, August 3, 2010 Clara Santantonio-Graves entered into eternal rest at the age of 92. She was born in the City of New York, where she lived with her husband Roger Santantonio until the age 62. She worked for Simplicity Patterns which supported her love of clothing design. Upon Roger's death she moved to Houston, TX where she resided for thirteen years. She met and married her second husband Quartus Graves and spent the next ten years with him traveling the world. Upon his demise Clara moved to Northern Virginia where she lived out the remainder of her life. She will always be remembered for her vivacious personality and her sincerity and kindness to others.
Survivors include her eldest daughter, Grace Santantonio, her son, Charles Santantonio, and her daughter Rosemary Santantonio, as well as her three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 5th between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE, Leesburg, VA. Graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA, at 11:00 am on Friday, August 6th.
