Mrs. Claudia Fouche, 97, formerly of Waxpool and oldest living member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church went home to be with her Lord on Friday, December 10th. She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Julian and 3 sons; William Boyer, Gerald Grey and Dennis Julian as well as sons-in-law Ed Furr and Lane Stephens.

Survivors include her sister Jesse Settle of Maryland; 3 children: son, Donald (Charlene) of Georgia, daughters Peggi Smith (Jerry) of Winchester and Emily Furr of Bunker Hill, WV Also 2 daughters-in-law; Robbie of Florida and Jackie of NC; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great children.

She was very active at Mount Hope until relocating to Winchester. She was an Adult Sunday School Class teacher for 50 years as well as WMU Director.

Visitation will be held at Mount Hope Baptist Church, 42507 Mount Hope Rd, Ashburn, VA 20147 on Saturday, December 18, from 9:00 am to 11:00 a.m. with the service to follow. Burial in Leesburg Union Cemetery at 2:00p.m.
