Claudine Frederique Williams passed away on July 12, 2016 in Leesburg, Virginia at the
age 84 from multiple health issues. Born in Montreal, Canada to Victor and Lucille Barbeau,
Mrs. Williams emigrated to the United States in 1952 when she married James R. Williams and
was proud to later become a U.S. citizen. The couple settled on Long Island, New York for
many years and retied to Savannah, Georgia in 1989. They were happily married for 48 years
until the passing of her beloved husband in 2000. Mrs. Williams later moved to Loudoun County,
Virginia to be closer to family.

Claudine had varied interests and passions, including music and the arts, gardening, golf,
and the love of family. She also shared a special emotional bond with her many pets over the
years as a result of her unbounded compassion and patience.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, younger brother Francois, and
older sisters Michelle and Nicole. She is survived by her older brother Pierre of Montreal,
Canada, son Eric and daughter-in-law Sheryl Williams of Lovettsville, Virginia, son David,
daughter-in-law Cathleen, and grandson James of Carson City, Nevada, granddaughter
Stephanie McMullin of Reno, Nevada, and many beloved nieces, nephews, their children, and
friends.
