Connie Joann Ellis (Catlin), 75, of Leesburg, VA went home to Jesus on June 8, 2023.  She was surrounded by her husband and family.

She was born on February 14, 1948 in Utica, NY and was raised in Leonardsville, NY.  She was a daughter of the late Margaret Ellsworth (Meier) and Joseph Catlin.

In addition to being a dedicated mother and loving grandmother, she also loved glorifying Jesus.  Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her.  To those of us that were blessed to be touched by Connie, we understand that her legacy and imprint exceed her time spent with us.  We will miss Connie dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always live with her memory  in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband Rod Ellis and her two children and three grandchildren: Her son Michael Ellis of Leesburg, VA; son Chad Ellis and spouse Angela of Leesburg, VA and grandsons Nathan, Benjamin and Daniel Ellis.

Connie is also survived by her sister Bonnie Lee Shadduck of Boiling Springs, SC, brother Martin Frederick Catlin of Cross Plains, TX, sister Lynette Frances Doremus of Niangua, MO, and brother Richard Eugene Catlin of Leonardsville, NY.  She is preceded in death by a brother Joseph Crosby Catlin.
