Cynthia Anita Sharp was born in Manchester, England on June 13, 1942 to Wilfred and Mary Ann Shawl. A new adventure brought Cindy to America in 1968, first living in Manhattan Beach, California and then moving to McLean, Virginia in 1974. In 1976, Cindy moved to Vienna, Virginia where she lived for 36 years until moving to Ashburn, Virginia in 2012. Cindy's love for the United States led her to become a US Citizen.

Cindy had a fulfilling career as an Interior Designer working for Masterworks, Ferguson Showroom and Home Expo. Cindy, more than anything, loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids along with their friends and families. Throughout her years, she touched and influenced the lives of all those that were in her life and will always be remembered for her calming presence, friendship, patience and unconditional love.

Cindy leaves behind her three children: Jane Greene, Steve Sharp and Jennifer Myers and their spouses Derrick Greene, Shelby Sharp, and Kyle Myers. She also leaves behind her beloved eight grandchildren Jordon, Lindsey, Christian, Kaitlyn, Noah, Olivia, Ally and Tanner.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, NE, Leesburg, VA 20176.
