Our loving father Daniel Clyde Phares, age 62, passed away on Monday, Nov 2nd 2015. Danny, as he was known by all his friends and family, was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend to all. Danny's love was the great outdoors and his dogs.

Danny was a hard-working man till the day he passed! He loved scoping out the Valley Trader, fixing things, a 7.3 liter power stroke, a stiff drink and driving his Peterbilt. He was an ornery man at times but always had a heart of gold. Danny was a meat & potatoes kinda-guy till the very end & loved his crabs when he could get his hands on them! He is loved ever so, and greatly missed.

Survived by his mother Ethel, son Darren, 4 sisters and his daughter-in-law Krystal. Danny has 5 nieces, 5 nephews, 9 great nieces, 11 great nephews and one great great niece. He is preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, Leesburg, VA. The family will be meeting for dinner immediately following starting at 3:30 pm at Ruby Tuesdays. Friends are welcome to meet them there.
