Daniel Leo Siemion II of Leesburg, VA—beloved father, brother, and partner—passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Born in Flushing, New York into a proud military family, Dan spent his childhood moving often with his parents and four siblings, creating lasting memories along the way. After graduating high school, he settled in Quantico, Virginia and began building his own path in life.

At the heart of Dan's life was his devoted partner, Mary Sue Fogle. Their bond brought him joy, laughter, and comfort, and together they shared countless cherished moments—from grilling in the backyard to celebrating holidays and family milestones. Mary Sue's love and companionship enriched his life in immeasurable ways.

Dan had a lifelong passion for sports and games. He loved golfing and proudly hosted an annual tournament for 42 years. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, poker, softball, coaching little league baseball, and watching all sports, especially cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He loved bringing people together, whether on the green, at the table, or at home, sharing good food—especially his famous potato salad—good company, and the simple pleasures of life.

Dan was predeceased by his father, Daniel Leo Siemion; his mother, Wilhelmina "Bunnie" Siemion; and his brothers, Matt and Pete Siemion.

Dan is survived by his children, who were his greatest source of pride and joy: daughters, Dana Siemion-Jimenez (Chris), Jessica Poston (Jeric), and Kelly Conate (Jack); and his son, Daniel "Trey" Leo Siemion III (Lindsey). He also leaves behind his siblings, Ed Siemion (Lynn), Lynn Slone (Bill), and Sandy Siemion; his cherished grandchildren, Janna, Jackson, Audre, Kaylee, and Levi; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered for his big heart, his humor, his friendships, and the joy he found in life, especially in the love he shared with Mary Sue and his family.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg at 3:00 PM, with the family to begin receiving guests at 2:30 PM.
