David Hobert Carter of Burke, Virginia passed away on October 19, 2010 at the age of 48. David was born in Alexandria, Virginia on May 26, 1961 to Roberta Lenore (Courtright) and James Robert Carter. He was a 1980 graduate from Hayfield High School. He had made a career as a sheet metal worker. David is survived by his mother Roberta Carter; sister Karen Wessinger; brother Dennis Carter and daughter Lindsay Howerton. Other family members include his nieces Shannon Smith, Kimberly Porter, Jessica Wessinger, Ashley Palmer and Tiffany Carter.
