LEESBURG- David A. Junkin "Dave" age 56 passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019. He was born April 7, 1963 in Tokyo, Japan to William Junkin and Evelyn Junkin. He was a graduate of Glen Rock Jr Sr High School in Glen Rock, NJ. Dave was a devoted son and primary caregiver to his mother, whom he loved dearly. He had a passion for music, sports (a big Giants, Mets, Rangers and Knicks fan), family, friends and a genuine love for people. He had the ability to light up any room he was in and brought people closer together. He loved life and those in it.

He is predeceased by his Father William; Sister Kate Sowers;  brother Wil; He is survived by his mother, Evelyn; brother Tom and his wife Holly; Nieces:  Kay Sowers and Mckenna Junkin; Nephews: Fernando Bolaños, Tommy Junkin, David Sowers and Becker Junkin.

A celebration of Dave's life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 2PM at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA. In lieu of flowers we ask that you perform an act of kindness in Dave's honor to someone in need. "ONE LOVE"
