Dave Shearer left us to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 after a long illness. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course. I have kept the faith".

(2 Timothy 4:7) He leaves behind his loving wife Dottie and two children from his first marriage: Dave Jr. and Kathy. Dave was also Grandpa to 9 devoted children.-

He will be remembered for his smile, his love of family, his faith, his cooking, his great attitude about life, his helpfulness to others, his love of wine and good food and his love of travel. He had a special love for Australia—he went there 6 times and he leaves some very special Aussie friends. If you ever asked him how he was he would always say "Fannnnntastic". He felt that he led a very blessed life and yet we all feel blessed to have been part of his life. He will be sorely missed.

Dave worked for AMP Incorporated for 31 years, retiring in 1998. We know that he is enjoying his new heavenly body, healed and whole, in the presence of the Lord. We will see you again some day!
