Debra Teresa Spears, 61, of Ashburn, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2024, at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia.

Debbie was born on March 20, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan to the late LC Spears and Bertha (Brown) Spears and grew up in Fountaintown, Indiana. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Michelle Reeves of Ashburn, Virginia. Other survivors include her brother, Larry Spears (Beth) of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Karen Miller (Garland) of Winchester, Virginia; and nephews and niece, James Spears, Jay Keefer, Matthew Spears, and Jenna Shultz.

Debbie spent many years working for the Air Line Pilots Association and later in the NICU at Reston Hospital Center. Known for her kindness, keen intellect, and sharp wit, Debbie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by her warmth, humor, and generosity.

A service to celebrate Debbie's life will take place at a future date.
