Obituary

Diana Sue Correa, 61 of Leesburg, passed away on January 30, 2011 at Georgetown University Hospital.
Diana, who was the Matriarch of the family on many different levels, was born in Mullens, West Virginia to William and Etta Sue Jennings on August 26, 1949. She attended Mullens High School graduating with honors and later graduated with a Masters of Business from Concord University, Suma Cum Laude. She married Nestor Correa on November 26, 1977 in Mullens West Virginia. She worked as an executive assistant/air marshal with TSA since 2002. Prior to that, she worked at Dulles International Airport as a checkpoint supervisor for 11 years. She proudly served in the U.S. Army for fourteen years and was awarded two overseas ribbons, one army service ribbon, three army good conduct medals, a rifle marksmanship badge, and a German Schutzenschnur Silver Badge. She was actively involved in the local North District Honor Guard, as well as an active member of the Elks Lodge #2188.
Diana is preceded in death by her father William Jennings, mother-in-law Pascasia Quinones, and father –in-law Emereto Quinones.
Diana is survived by her husband Nestor Correa; children, Eric Woodrum, Nestor Thomas (Yaritza) Correa, Julissa(Javier)Baez, Kelly (Brandi) Woodrum ,Reina(Robert)Mason; siblings David(Phyllis) Jennings, Jayden(Glena) Jennings, and Scott Jennings; mother Etta Sue Jennings ;grandchildren Katharine and Meghan Woodrum, Sharayah Correa, Kaitlyn, Bret and Karynn Woodrum, Dylan Baez, Liliana Mason; Friends; Lynda and Mike Farley and, Robbie Sylvestre.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4:30 Friday February 4th at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg. Funeral Services will then begin at 4:30 with Rev. Reiff Lesher, of Community Worship Center of Round Hill officiating. Burial will take place in Puerto Rico.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the ICU unit at Georgetown University Hospital for the great job they did taking care of Diana. Special thanks to ER and ICU nurses Jessica, Jessica R, Lunky, Kurge, Suni and Kyving.
