Donald Curtis Brownlee, 93, of Hamilton, VA opted to spend this Valentine's Day with his wife, Jean amongst the angels. February 14, 2022, was our beloved's last day on this earth. Don will be remembered for his sharp, clever wit, his friendship, compassion and zest for life. He was a strong-willed, hard-working man who always put others first. He offered a smile to all and his eyes forever shone with the joy of seeing family and friends.
He was an incredible father and role model to his children, Ron and Oyuna Brownlee, Sherry and Jimmy Paich, Rick and Judy Brownlee, and Sandi and Jim Corona. He is also survived by his siblings Zelma Cameron, Ruth Sirbaugh and Gary and Judy Brownlee. Additionally, he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Don is predeceased by his wife, Jean, his parents Loal and Oda Brownlee and eight other siblings.
Words will never encapsulate our love for him. He will be deeply missed and always remembered. The time we shared with him was filled with joy, laughter, tears, hugs and caring.
We love you eternally.
