Donald Wayne Frye of Lucketts, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. He was 80 years old. Don was known to many as the "Birdman" for the many bird houses he had built and placed around on his property. He will be dearly missed by his family and the many friends he had made during his lifetime.

A time of visitation has been set for Thursday, August 11, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 13266 Taylorstown Road, Leesburg, VA 20176. A funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, August 12, 2011 starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mt. Pleasant Church.
