He loved his grandchildren more than life itself and could spend countless hours talking and cheering on his beloved Redskins. No one was ever a stranger to Donny, whether he was in the grocery store or spending time at Old 690 Brewing Company. He spent many years coaching youth football both in Sterling and in Purcellville. On most Friday nights in the fall you would find him watching high school teams fight it out on the field under the lights. Football, gardening and his family was truly his passion.
