Doris Virginia Hagenbuch Grimes passed away June 1, 2019 at Hilltop House in Winchester, Virginia under the care of Hospice.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra Bruning and husband Ray, sons Tom Grimes and wife Diane and Gary Grimes, grandchildren Christa Bruning, Megan Grimes and Dylan Grimes, sister-in-law Marion "Dolly" Hagenbuch and brother-in-law Calvin Grimes.

She is preceded in death by husband Shirley Grimes, brothers Tom and Raymond Hagenbuch and sisters Gertrude Hagenbuch, Grace Fox, Alva Downs, Gladys Grimes and Ann Grimes.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed being a full time wife and mother.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, NE, Leesburg, VA  20176 where a service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery.
